BC.GAME spent the weekend promising Wembley football fans a free bet in exchange for one scanned code. By Saturday the replies had collected: the free bet never showed, one player asked the platform to stop the scam, and a Manchester United supporter offered notes on doing the scamming properly.

The promo was for the FA Community Shield, Arsenal against Manchester City at Wembley, which BC.GAME billed as the first statement of the season. The graphic told fans to scan a code because the free bet was waiting, then asked which pre-match ritual they never skip. The replies skipped the ritual and went straight to the part where the bet had not shown up.

Another reply kept it even shorter: Please stop the scam, I wasn't able to get a free bet at all. This is the risk of advertising a bet that is waiting. Eventually somebody comes to collect, and the code that was supposed to hand it over delivered only the audience.

The Taka rail had a busier weekend

The answer appears not to have moved since.
