Goated Launches Provably Fair Baccarat Original
The marketing copy reads like someone locked a copywriter in a room with a Bond marathon and a gram of ambition.

Goated has added baccarat to its in-house originals lineup, launching a provably fair take on the card game long associated with private salons, high rollers, and the fictional spy who orders Martinis he does not finish. The announcement landed Friday with what may be the most self-aware piece of copy ever to emerge from a crypto casino marketing department.
"You can now play the game of billionaires and Bond villains in your hoodie at 3 am," the casino posted on X. "Who wants some juice to get started?" The Bond villains, one assumes, are self-funding.

The game
Goated Baccarat is a provably fair original built in-house, and the game page spells out exactly what is on offer. The pitch is straightforward: back the Player, the Banker, or a Tie, and whichever hand lands closest to 9 wins. The Banker bet carries a 1.06% house edge, equivalent to a 98.94% RTP, which Goated correctly notes is among the lowest edges available anywhere in a casino. That is the commission-adjusted figure after the 5% deduction on Banker wins; the Player bet costs more, and the Tie and side bets cost a great deal more.
The side-bet menu is where the game stretches its legs. Player Pair, Banker Pair, Either Pair, Perfect Pair, and a Dragon Bonus paying up to 30:1 on a non-natural win by 9 points. The game page publishes the full payout table alongside the edge cases: a natural 8 or 9 pays a flat 1:1 on the Dragon Bonus regardless of the margin, and winning by 1 to 3 points is not a paying outcome for that bet at all. The fine print is there for anyone who reads it.
No shoe, no edge
One detail in the provably fair implementation changes how the game behaves in a way that matters. Each card is drawn independently from the full 52-card index, meaning there is no depleting shoe to track and no cut card to wait for. No coup carries information into the next. The Trends panel, a running history of past results, is explicitly described on the game page as a record rather than a forecast. That is a level of candor rare enough in casino marketing to qualify as a feature.
The fairness model uses a pre-committed server seed hashed before the bet, combined with a client seed and a nonce, run through HMAC-SHA256. Players can verify any past coup by rotating their seed and reproducing the deal on Goated's verification page. The casino publishes the card-generation code publicly.
The broader build-out
Baccarat joins Goated's existing originals suite alongside Blackjack and other in-house titles. The casino has been steadily expanding its proprietary games rather than relying solely on third-party providers, a move that gives it control over both the mathematics and the verification layer. For a platform that brands itself the "#1 Crypto Casino," filling out the table-game roster is table stakes.
Whether the target demographic of crypto gamblers in hoodies at 3am overlaps meaningfully with the Bond-villain set is a question the marketing department appears to have answered with the copy itself. Either way, the game is live, the edge is published, and the juice, apparently, is available on request.
