Monkey Tilt Posts Tom Dwan Photo, Explains Nothing

A photo, a poker legend, a VIP host, and three words of caption. The rest is for the replies to figure out.

Late Thursday evening, Monkey Tilt published a photograph to its 151,000 followers on X. The image featured Tom Dwan, one of the most recognizable figures in professional poker with an account commanding 207,000 followers, standing beside the platform's Head of VIP, known as Bynkto. The caption read, in its entirety: "Tilt on Tilt violence."

The photograph Monkey Tilt posted, which currently serves as the entirety of the available public information regarding Tom Dwan's involvement with the platform.

That was it. No press release followed. No blog post was linked. No sponsorship announcement materialized in the reply thread, and no representative of the company stepped forward to clarify whether Dwan had signed an ambassadorship, agreed to a one-off stream appearance, or simply wandered into frame while the camera was on. The post pulled 1,353 impressions, eight replies, and three reposts, and then the company moved on to tweeting about Vinícius Júnior's contract extension at Real Madrid.

The replies, left to their own devices, did what crypto casino reply sections do: they began investigating. One user asked, "What's the stream?" Another requested a video link. The answer, when it arrived from the Monkey Tilt account, was a YouTube URL pointing to Day 3 of Hellmuth's Home Game, a deep-stack $25/$50 and higher cash game featuring Dwan alongside Phil Hellmuth, Dan "Jungleman" Cates, Xuan Liu, and Kelly Minkin. A user named Spencer, satisfied, replied simply: "ty watching now."

Whether the photograph signals an ongoing commercial relationship between Dwan and the pack-ripping platform, or merely documents the VIP head's proximity to a poker celebrity during a livestreamed cash game, remains an open question. Monkey Tilt has, in recent months, demonstrated a particular enthusiasm for unconventional talent acquisition. The company's founder, Señor Tilt, has previously distributed what amounted to a poaching memo targeting rival VIPs and has publicly solicited procurement requests from the community in real time. A cryptic photo of Tom Dwan alongside a VIP host sits comfortably within this tradition.

Dwan, for his part, has not posted about Monkey Tilt. The most recent X activity from the @TomDwan account at the time of writing concerns a different poker stream entirely. The hotline, as the company's own phrase goes, remains open.
