Reels Quotes Account Accusing Duel of Money Laundering

Reels let a 981-follower account write "the cartel send their regards" about Duel, then added one tidy sentence of its own.

Reels' newest anti-DUEL statement is one sentence long, and that sentence is the sanitized version. On Friday, Reels quote-tweeted @hairlessEV, a 981-follower account whose post announced that the U.S. SEC is now flagging all DUEL withdrawals as illegal funds and cited 18 U.S.C. § 1956(a)(1) for good measure. Reels typed only: "All DUEL growth can be attributed to criminals laundering money, easy to do in a casino that has no ethics or morals at all."

@hairlessEV's post reads like a ransom note that survived legal review and came out worse on the other side. It ordered followers to withdraw everything from DUEL immediately, claimed the SEC has now made the laundering "OFFICIAL," identified DUEL's owner as Ossi Ketola, a man "currently on the run in the UAE" who cannot enter the EU "due to multiple offenses & warrants out for his arrest," and shipped a 23-second video as the supporting exhibit. The blue check on the account just means it pays X, not that any of this is true.

The 23-second video attached to the post Reels chose to quote.

The cartel send their regards, EV.

The comedy is the distance between the two halves of the quote. hairlessEV handled the specifics: the SEC, the statute, the named owner, the warrants, the cartel. Reels kept its own syntax clean. "Criminals laundering money" is the boardroom version of "the cartel send their regards," same accusation, one of them safe to print above a logo.

The character witness pool is shrinking

This is the third time in a week Reels has outsourced its DUEL material. First it drafted a 170,000-follower looksmaxxing influencer named Clavicular as a character witness. Then it swung a minors accusation through a 117,000-follower SNEAKO fan page. Now it is down to a 981-follower account with a "9 figures 1 day" bio. The witnesses keep getting smaller. The shade keeps shipping.

What Reels gets is deniability with a billboard attached. The wildest claims live on hairlessEV's side of the quote, where Reels can shrug and say it was only quoting someone. The one sentence it did type is broad enough to dodge specifics and sharp enough to do the job. For a casino whose other products include 1000x leverage and an open VIP poaching desk, the money-laundering cudgel is just the newest tool on the shelf.
