ToshiBet Brags About Tipping Its Phisher $1,500 Extra

The casino got phished, tipped the phisher $1,500 more, and called someone a bitch before dinner.

ToshiBet, a crypto casino that styles itself 'Gods Chosen Casino,' spent Tuesday evening treating its timeline like a group chat it was winning. By bedtime the account had bragged about getting phished, told a community member where the retainer went, and dismissed an opinion with the word 'bitch.' No crisis comms plan anywhere, and that, it turns out, is the entire strategy.

The headline act arrived late Tuesday. Six months ago, ToshiBet explained, the casino had been phished. It barely noticed, because it is 'so up.' And to make sure the phisher understood just how little the whole episode mattered, the casino sent them an extra $1,500.

We got phished 6 months ago but we really didn't care about it. I mean whatever we barely noticed it happened cause we're so up. In fact we didn't care about it so much we sent them an extra $1500 to make sure they knew it didn't affect us.

This is the flex, and it deserves a moment of study. A casino's entire business is being the side that never gets got. ToshiBet's official response to getting got was to pay the person who got it another $1,500, which is the financial equivalent of being robbed and then tipping the robber to prove the robbery was a rounding error. The phrase 'so up' carries the whole performance: this was not a security incident, it was a brag with a wallet attached.

The Retainer

Then came @brainlety, whose X bio simply reads 'disgraced community member,' which saves everyone a lot of time. brainlety had opened an audio Space titled 'Happening now: patiently waiting for,' a title that trails off like someone waiting for the universe to finish the sentence, with the listening count sitting at zero. ToshiBet slid into the replies anyway: 'It's not working for free Prez, it's using your retainer to gamble.'

Read it again and it gets worse, which is to say funnier. Whatever brainlety was patiently waiting for, the casino's official position is that the retainer was not paying for work, it was feeding the house. A casino telling a community member that the money it pays them goes straight back into the same casino is either the most honest thing a brand has ever posted or a wink heavy enough to need its own content warning. Possibly both.

Two Words

Earlier in the day, @boru_crypto, whose bio carries a ToshiBet referral link, posted an observation about crypto in general: 'crypto is the only place you'll see an 8 figure person argue with a $30 mf.' The casino could have scrolled past. Instead ToshiBet quote-tweeted it with the entire rebuttal: 'This isn't true, bitch.'

Boru had not named ToshiBet, but the account walked into the frame anyway, which is the only appropriate response when someone describes an eight-figure person arguing with a $30 mf in your general vicinity. Note the ambiguity: ToshiBet might be denying that it argues with $30 men, or denying that it is the eight-figure one. The punchline is the same either way, and it gets sharper when you notice Boru's bio literally points to a ToshiBet referral link. The casino called its own affiliate a bitch in front of everyone, which suggests either a very relaxed working relationship or that the retainer is not the only thing being gambled.

None of this is an off day for ToshiBet. It is the brand. This is the same account that joked its social manager's labor buys the founder a second yacht and then spent a week posting about $GAMBLE like a launchpad warming up for a fair launch. The swagger is the product. But Tuesday's phish flex is the crown jewel, because it inverts the one rule a casino is supposed to respect: the house always wins. ToshiBet's version of that sentence is that when the house loses, it just pays the winner a little more to prove it never felt a thing.
